New Members
Welcome to a Growing Church. We are delighted to have you as a member of our church. It is our desire that you find our services inspirational and informative. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking time to study God’s Word from the Bible with us. We hope and pray that this will be the beginning of a “New Relationship” of Christian growth and fellowship. We are available for Bible Study, Sunday Academic School, counseling and questions to help you identify your gift in ministry through the teachings in one of God’s most powerful movements.
What is Expected of Members? It is essential that every believer be established on a secure foundation. Such a foundation assures stability. From it, wholeness is developed…physically, spiritually, emotionally, morally, socially, and financially.
The importance of a solid foundation is illustrated in Matthew 7:24-27. The story gives an account of two men who decided to build houses. The wise man built on a solid rock, the foolish man built on sand. As the rain descended and the floods came, the house established on a solid foundation did not fall; the house built on sand fell greatly.
We are concerned about how you build up the spiritual foundation of your life. That’s why it is important that you attend church services regularly and promptly. Hebrews 10:25 says, “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the day approaching. Total commitment and active participation with the church body is mandated for spiritual growth.
New Member’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, teach me to abide in you constantly. Reveal to me that if I abide in you, and let your words abide in me, that I will be able to ask whatever I will and it shall be done for me. Let me know Heavenly Father, that abiding in you will keep me from sin and make me fruitful in your kingdom. Teach me to abide, teach me to settle, teach me to dwell, teach me to take.
